Purpose

Every project is made because author wanted something. This something is called purpose. Basically, purpose is what the author wants from his audience. It could be anything, just letting people know what author thinks about, or to persuade people to do something. For example the purpose of the schoolbooks is to give students knowledge, and the purpose of the advertisement is to persuade people to buy the product from the ad.

In this class, every project I made have a different purpose. Let’s look at my memo. At the very beginning of this project, after establishing the problem, I wrote the purpose of it. I wrote why I am writing this paper and what do I expect from my audience. “I and a group of students want to solve this problem. Please contact me for the further discussion of it.” (Memo). As you can see, the purpose of my memo is to persuade my audience to contact me, so we can solve the problem.
